1.4 Linda West
Summer 1995, Granite Falls
"Wow, a tree house?!" Linda was definitely surprised!
"See, I told you this is a great place! And there's even a small lake in the back, where we can swim! Let's go now!", Alejandro said.
He obviously couldn't wait to show her around.
The first thing they did was jumping into the crystal clear warm water.
The excitement of finally having a vacation made Linda feel a little mischievous.
"Hey!! Don't splash!" Alejandro complained. She caught him by surprise, and both laughed.
Linda really enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful nature around her.
The soft plunks of Alejandro's guitar made her mind wander around.
"I could stay here forever", she thought.
At dinner time Linda threw some canned ingredients she found in the cabinets into a pot.
"Wow, you cook?", Alejandro came closer, drawn by the spicy scents.
"Yes, a stew. I learned it from my grandmother", Linda replied.
"You're truly the most amazing woman I ever met!", he was excited.
"Oh, stop it", she laughed, but felt a little uncomfortable.
After they ate, they snuggled on the couch.
"The food was great!", Alejandro said.
"I'm glad you liked it!"
"And I like you... how about we go upstairs?"
"You charmer", Linda laughed, but this time she was a bit more relaxed.
This would be a sweet vacation, except... grr... Alejandro is a player.
ReplyDeleteI mean, I'm going to try with holding judgement; who knows, maybe Alejandro is in an open relationship with his wife and he and Linda have agreed to not be exclusive either? O.o

DeleteShe's definitely being cautious with him - I wonder if that's her intuition telling her something is off/not to trust him, or if she's had bad experiences in the past.
ReplyDeleteHe does actually seem to be into her, which is interesting. Obviously he's fooling around, wonder what made him turn it into slightly more with Linda. Unless it's just because he knows she's not going to go all the way unless they're somewhat serious. But even then, would he bother with a romantic getaway?
She knows he's married and it's not serious, so she doesn't invest anything.
DeleteHe may be much more into her, than he'd like to admit, maybe he likes that she's so distant instead of adoring him like the fangirls. A challenge?
Oh, and they are going all the way, if it's not clear, it's bc I was to show/write anything explicit like that 😆
Intriguing so far! So he's married and he's having an affair with her as well as others apparently... Wondering where this will go!
