Summer 1995, The Mudhole

"Ahhhh, again no cute boys in the club...", Sara looked really disappointed.

The Mudhole was the hottest (and actually, only) night club of whole Windenburg, but it seems the town itself didn't had too many hot people (most importantly, boys) to offer... 

maybe that was also a reason they had it easy to get in being underaged.

Sofia smirked slyly to her best friend. "Well, I will definitely meet one today!"

She also couldn't hide her excitement.

But of course, Sara didn't understand.

"What? How?", she asked confused.

"I got a boyfriend yesterday! He's already twenty-six, and a real bomb!", 

Sofia was just too eager to break the news to Sara, it wasn't easy to play calm the whole day in school!

"TWENTY-SIX??" Sofia fully enjoyd the scare she gave to her bestie.

"Oh my god! Sofia, we're only sixteen! Your mom will kill you!"

As usual, Sara was a chicken! "Relax! She won't know it too soon", Sofia replied, feeling so much more mature than her.

Then she finally could make him out in the crowd. She waved at him: "Here we are!"

"Hey, babe!", Paolo smiled while approaching them.

"Paolo, this is Sara, my best friend!", Sofia introduced them.

Sara giggled uncomfortable: "Hi..."

"Hello there! You're almost as cute as Sofia!", Paolo said, making Sofia's heart skip a beat out of joy.

"Eh.. thanks?" Sara took it less well.

Her loss.

"I missed you babe", Paolo purred at Sofia.

She tried to keep it cool: "We met only yesterday...", before he swept her off her feet.

"Still."

She could totally forget that her friend was still there, standing and not knowing what to do with herself.

Who needs a friend after all, when you could have this...
