4.2 Frank Cage

Winter 1996, Newcrest hospital

Frank had stayed with Diana in the delivery room because she didn't want to let go of his hand.

It still felt a bit numb, but he was just glad Diana was okay.

"Isn't she beautiful.. My little girl!" After a surprisingly easy delivery, Diana could finally hold her baby in her arms.

Lana was quiet, but watched her new enviroment carefully with her bright eyes.

She was really cute. 

Still Frank wanted to punch the guy that let her down like that, who ever he was. On his way out, he saw the whole gang sitting in the hospital waiting area.

"Hey guys! You all came?" He was sure he didn't called any of them this morning, but he guessed his brother made the right connection when he left panicked in the early morning.

They all looked worried.

"What's with these funeral faces?", Frank tried to lighten the mood.

"We were worried!", Rosa said.

"How is she?", Eva asked.

"She is fine! She did a great job, and soon she can come home, too. But now they put her into a room so she can rest."

He saw how their faces relaxed. He was glad they cared so much about Diana.

He knew he could always count on them.
