Good days

5.8 Linda West
Summer 1996, The Mudhole

The sun was up already, when the sisters left the night club.
"Who was that guy talking to you?", Mae asked. Of course she smelled another romance story blooming up, Linda thought.
Linda hesitated for a second.
"He didn't tell me", she said finally, not ever noticing while she was talking to him.

"Ohhh, and now you want to tell me you're not gonna meet him again? And I even let you two have some alone time..."
Mae's face showed disappointment.
Linda had to laugh at her sister's expression.
"Not everything is flirting and romance, you know. He was just being nice."
Mae looked at her somewhat suspicious, but then decided to let it go, after all.

  1. "Not everything is flirting and romance, you know. He was just being nice." Sorry Linda but welcome to being in fiction.

    1. right? 😂
omg I already forgot this chapter. she has little interest in romance, so I guess that's why she's so clueless.
