7.2 Harvest Festival

Autumn 1996, Founder's park

Serving all the new customers took a while. Linda and Vivian sold a lot, but when they restocked, Linda noticed how much they had harvested this year. The weather had been great.

"Mae looks really good!", the older woman declared. "And she's still as confident as always!"

Linda had to laugh. "Oh yes, she is!", she said, still amused about how her sister had take care of their small customer draught earlier.

"Hello, you two!", Delilah appeared.

"Dee!", Linda was surprised. "So you came back here?"

Delilah had helped out here in the morning, and went back home at noon.

Linda also noticed the man placing his arm around Dee's shoulder. She remembered him from the cinema a few months ago. Delilah had told her on the phone that they were dating now.

"Of course! I had to show Leory our nice harvest festival!", Dee said, throwing a loving glance at him. She looked proud, and happy.

"Well, what you all pulled up here looks awesome!", Leroy said.

"Oh, Thank you!", Linda replied politely.

"Go around, enjoy yourself!", she added. 

"Also the grilled food is great here", Vivian added. "You should try it!"
