19.2 Rosa De la Cruz
Winter 1998, caravan park

While Eva poured some coffee, Rosa picked up Luca to feed him. She had some trouble to discuss with her friend.
"Really, I don't know what to do! Since he'll start touring only from late April, he actually said he would like to come this time!", Rosa said.
"That's a nice thing!", Eva replied from the kitchen. "You always wanted him to join here, too!"
But now everything changed, just because her friends didn't understand her!

"Not if that stupid Mae is there, too!", Rosa cried. "Can't you just uninvite her?"

Eva sat down with two cups in her hands. "Uh... of course not!", she said. "That's really rude. Also I actually want her to be there."
That's exactly what Rosa had feared.
"...more than your best friend?", she asked.
She felt like she had to cry. She hadn't found any excuse to tell her husband why he shouldn't come, and now it seems she couldn't avoid that stupid slut to be there either.

"Don't be ridiculous!", Rosa saw how Eva lost her patience. "You wouldn't refuse to go to your best friend's wedding because of your stupid fixation, no?"
Rosa felt a head ache coming up.
She sighed.
Why couldn't her friends understand her?

"Nothing will happen!", Eva continued. At least she seemed to have found her good mood back.
Rosa wasn't fully convinced, but maybe Eva was right.
And after all, she was there too, so she could take care that nothing would happen.

  1. Omg Rosa, still? Hopefully it's just lingering hormones...

  2. Come on girl...you have problems... You and hubby need to rediscover each other in the bedroom honey. What’s up with that?

    1. Some bedroom therapy is much needed... and maybe some more.

  4. The baby on the side table is making me nervous because I've seen them rock themselves off surfaces like that. Yeah, I'm distractus-continuous.

  5. Woah Rosa, Mae's married! I know things can still happen but.. wouldn't that help ease things a bit. :\ Oh well. Fran did kiss Mae as a newly wed man.

    1. Well, marriage has never kept people from doing what they wanted, and Rosa knows that very well 😏 except in this case the whole jealousy is (probably) not justified.

  6. Rosa, have you ever heard of worrying something into existence? All these insecurities of hers are just causing a bigger rift between them. Like things aren't shaky enough as is...

    1. Ehehe. While believing something into existence may not work, I wouldn't say the same applies to worrying...
She soon may have bigger problems.
